The hotel offers an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options, even available late into the morning hours.
The rooms lack proper curtains. The sheer netting does not adequately block out the bright early morning light.

I thoroughly enjoyed being there, the place is quiet little and quirky.
Units with a balcony. The location was great and perfect, near to the mountains and the sound of the river, the train tracks that connect Tasch to Zermatt, and train station, supermarket and restaurants.

The units were a nice size and well-equipped with a kingsize bed. The property has a handy location, next to the mountains and the sound of the river, Train Station & convenience store, and Zermatt...

good stay but needs some improvement
The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, really impressed by the friendly staff, especially the Portuguese gentleman who helped us. The shuttle service to Zermatt was convenient and quick, such a relief not to deal with extra parking fees after checkout. The mountain view from my room was fine.

Smooth check-in, fab food.
Great and perfect position very close to railway line so passing trains could be heard, in the local area. Courteous, welcoming staff towards all guests. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the double room, plus an electronic key card, a multi-channel TV, and a writing table.

The standard triple room was cozy, and i loved spending time in the spa area with the sauna and jacuzzis. Big thanks to the owner for helping me recover my gold necklace, above and beyond!

Free, secure parking. Proximity to town. Cheapest hotel in the area.
5% surcharge for credit card. Shuttle to Zermatt is 5CHF each way per person but reliable. Noise from trains. Everything in the area is expensive.

The standard triple room was cozy, with comfortable beds, made for great sleep. The location was super close to the train station, a big plus for us. We even had a nice balcony with a view of the mountains.

Price was good. Room was very clean. Bed and pillows comfortable.
Reception was at times helpful and at other times slightly rude and a bit curt - It felt like they were doing me a service in letting me stay there. They also charge a 5% fee for using a credit card - which is illegal and against the credit card contract.

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a night in the hotel. first, they have a nice terasse looking towards another hotel, but the "nice" terasse was underwater! cigarettes and all other kind of shit was floating arround. so no way to use the terasse. then they say the have internet. true, but only in the lobby and from timne to time in the closest rooms. when we asked at the reception desk, they told us, really annoyed, that it is like this and internet "will come later in the evening" ??? And the worst thing. on the next morning they started to clean the next room at )oclock. do you imagine the sound of the vacuum cleaner in 9am??? and we were hiking the previous day, so we were super tired and we wanted to have a real rest. horrible. than at 11:15 (check out is at 11am) a guy came to our room, tocked once and just opened the door. when he saw that we are completely ready to check out (we were verifing one last time if we have forgotton something), he started yelling (yes staff people from this hotel shout at you) that we shoud forget out of here??? and yeah we just ran out... for 15min late for chexk in. and we left the room nice and tidy so it would be easier for the maids... increddible. i have never been in a worse hotel in my life. if anyone goes to tasch, avoid this hotel or ypu risk to spoil your holidays (weekends). and yeah and the advertisement about sauna, jacuzzi and spa is not valid. a total joke!

We loved the spacious family room with a massive bathroom and the super comfy beds made for a great sleep! We enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and catching up on our favorite shows in the TV lounge after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the train noise could be a bit distracting at times, but it really didn't take away from our awesome stay 😊

Nice half Japanese receptionist. But breakfast was poor. Hotel was bad value for money.
Bad coffee. Watered down orange juice. No choice of eggs - no bacon. Only white bread. Kids running around - presumably related to hospital staff. 5 percent extra charged for use of credit card with no prior information during booking that extra would be charged. Outdated furnishings and fittings. No hot water for bath when we returned from skiing at 7.30pm. Tacky tasteless decorations. No mini bar. Hotel manager told my son to turn his nintendo off at breakfast. He had no right to do this. Breakfast plates not cleared up so latecomers faced with room full of dirty dishes like a bomb had hit it. No banister on stairs to fourth floor - dangerous.
